You see, he was a world-famous cardiovascular surgeon who pioneered procedures like bypass surgery. You know what that is? It’s one of the more common surgeries that help keep people alive when they’ve had a heart attack.

You should stop saying "if Obama beats McCain" when you are reading the news on KUAZ. The phrase implies that the race is McCain's to lose, while in fact Obama still leads in some of the poles. You should say "if Obama wins the November presidential election" or something similar.
